The colour is a deep brick red with garnet hues. The aroma is wonderfully Merlot. Full of fruit cake, some musk, earth, cinnamon and meaty notes. The palate displays an exciting array of flavours including tart cherry, coffee, dark chocolate and rhubarb which is really showing the complexity that comes with maturation. The tannins are fine and firm and the acidity perfectly balanced to provide structure and length.
