Dark red plum, smoke, tobacco and spices meld together in the 2011 Chianti Riserva. Layered and supple in the glass, the 2011 is already quite open and expressive. A final burst of red fruits and flowers leaves a lasting impression. Beginning in 2013, Colorino and Canaiolo will replace Merlot in the blend.
