eRobertParker.com #216 - Dec 2014 Score : 90 The 2011 Gigondas has lots of kirsch, sweet cherries, spice and cedar wood to go with a medium-bodied, perfumed, Provencal style. It should drink well for a decade or more. Jeb Dunnuck. Wine Advocate #210 - Dec 2013 Score : (88-91) Scheduled to be bottled early in 2014, the 2011 Gigondas is another excellent wine from the Guigals. The same blend and elevage as the 2010, it shows more red fruits and spice, with loads of kirsch, dried flowers, and garrigue, medium-bodied richness and a delicious, already approachable profile. It will be ready to go on release and have 8-10 years of longevity. Jeb Dunnuck.
