2012 Gianni Brunelli Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Tuscany is one of the unsung stars of Tuscany. Beautiful black currant, blueberry and red currant flavours, are offset by a seductive core of cigar box, cedary oak, fresh leather and white pepper. Very good length. Drink now or will continue to evolve

Bright ruby-red. Very forward but enticing aromas of peach nectar, apricot eau-de-vie and peony. Enters bright and juicy, with a strong saline nuance to the lively red berry and floral flavors, then becomes more taut and linear. Finishes long with youthful but noble tannins and noteworthy peppery bite.
