“The 2013 Languedoc-La Clape la Falaise is a superb effort that offers beautiful richness as well as the hallmark purity of fruit of the vintage. Inky purple colored, it gives up lots of crème de cassis, melted licorice, crushed violets and touches of oak to go with a full-bodied, concentrated and textured style on the palate. Made from Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre, with the Syrah aged in barrel and the Grenache and Mourvèdre in cement tank, drink it over the coming 4-6 years.”
