From the mature Upper Yarra Valley Willowlake Vineyard. Hand-picked, wild yeast open fermented with 30% whole bunches, 70% destemmed. 18 days on skins, nine months in French oak (20% new). Excellent purple-crimson; the bouquet is perfumed with red fruits and flowers, the palate charged with red fruits supported by first class tannins of the type found in good Burgundies. Will develop with supreme grace - taste the '12 for proof positive. 250 dozen bottles made.
