Still youthful and with obvious oak influence, it's a powerful Pinot Noir in an elegant rather than blockbuster style. More about length rather than breadth, if that makes sense - the wine shows plum, prune, mineral, spice and chocolate/mocha characters that stay in the mouth for an extraordinary length of time.
