89-91 pts – The Wine Advocate (Neal Martin)
From 80-year-old vines and matured with around 35% whole-bunch fruit, the 2013 Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes has an attractive raspberry and dark cherry bouquet that opens nicely in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, quite supple tannins and commendable density, harmonious in the mouth with an elegant finish. For me, this works much better than the Clos Village ’13. Drink now – 2026.
