Deep crimson in colour with a complex aroma of dense cherry and red berry fruits together with nuances of dried herb and vanilla bean. A powerful and fleshy palate of plums, red berries and spice are balanced with persistent silky tannins.
From three low-yielding vineyards, extended fermentation with different approaches, matured in mainly new American hogsheads for 20 months. The come-hither message of the bouquet leads into an even more seductive palate with folds of velvet and satin around dark cherry and plum fruit, soft tannins a constant undertow.
