Barrel-fermented in used French oak, matured for 9 months. Margaret River makes a challenging task for eastern Australia seem ridiculously easy, although it's true the quality of the grapes is the all-important starting point. The wine has presence and gravitas, the lemon/citrus/mineral flavours given texture by the oak, without diminishing the fruit flavours.
