The 2014 Gevrey Chambertin Clos Village was showing a bit of stemminess on the nose that will hopefully be subsumed with time. The palate is medium-bodied, a little disjointed at the moment with a veneer of creamy oak (30%) that needs to be absorbed. I think this will come together by the time of bottling and it may well warrant a higher score then. Tasted 31st December 2015.
