Straw yellow. Intense and complex aroma of golden peach, ripe fig and honeydew melon. The fruit is supported by toasty cashew nut and biscuit notes. A powerful wine with great fruit intensity matched and balanced by creamy rich texture and the wonderful crisp slatey natural acidity of Tumbarumba. The melon and stone fruit flavours are perfectly ripe with a pure line of grapefruit acidity that drives the wine to fantastic depth and length, with an incredibly long, fresh and vibrant finish. Drinking well now but will reward medium to long term cellaring.

‘Pale straw-green; an aristocratic chardonnay, if there can be such a thing; complex, yet fruit-driven, bright acidity; enviable length and purity.’
