Mistletoe has been making this style since 2009 with late-harvested grapes grown in the Hilltops wine-growing region surrounding Young in SW New South Wales.
A very smart wine. It is luscious with the typical spicy, floral bouquet of Viognier leading to a palate showing apricot and orange peel, marmalade flavours with a cream brulee character.
It has perfectly judged acidity which keeps the wine from seeming too sweet or cloying on the palate.
Perfect at the end of a meal with fresh fruit and cheese. Drink now to 2022.
