Hand-picked and sorted, 7 days cold soak, mainly cultured yeast, open and closed fermentation, a small portion given extended time on skins post-ferment, 12-15 months maturation in French oak (30% new). Deep purple-crimson; there's a hive of activity going on here, and it's all pointing in the right direction. Black and blue fruits have shot-silk tannins that fall through the palate well before you arrive at the many splendoured finish. This is a special Montrose Shiraz.
