Naturally-low Martinborough yields, small canopies, old vines and judicious hand-picking are all factors in producing this unique style of bone-dry but weighty Sauvignon Blanc. A third of the juice was fermented in neutral oak barrels and a small portion in large barrels on skins. These portions give texture to the palate and phenolics which offer both a uniquely floral aspect on the nose and a textural, mineral feel. This is a distinctively elegant Sauvignon Blanc, very floral with notes of lemon curd and fleshy white fruit. The palate is zingy and exciting with mouth.
