'Tasted as a final blend, but not yet bottled, the 2015 Lirac is 60% Grenache, 15% each of Mourvèdre and Syrah and the rest Cinsault, all aged in equal parts tank and once and twice used demi-muids. There’s only 600 cases made, and it has terrific density and depth, with notes of blackcurrants, black cherries and licorice. Nicely concentrated and textured, it will be terrific value and drink nicely through at least 2022.'
