Presented in a striking blue bottle unlike anything else we’ve seen before this Albarino is made from 100% handpicked grapes, cold fermented and then aged on light lees for 6 months. This Spanish white shows why Rias Baixas is one of the most highly vaunted food wines in the world.
A stunning nose of apricot, peach and essential oils, wild flowers and lemon. Clean and dry with zesty citrus and peach notes, quite soft and rounded but with a lovely mineral chalky finish. Very dry and very easy to drink, this perfumed Albarino will be at its best between now and 2018.
