McLaren Vale and Clare Valley fruit has been carefully selected and blended to highlight the dark chocolate and plum characters from McLaren Vale; and the fine structure and ample tannins of the Clare Valley. Delicious dark plum and cherry compote with soft tannins and a well-balanced, medium finish.
Winemakers notes:
Intense red in colour with deep rich hues. A rich and sumptuous brooding style of Shiraz; dark fruits, cassis, chocolate, pepper, mint and vanillin spice from the French oak.
The palate is a continuum of the bouquet, with a fleshy, rounded, densely-flavoured wine showing complex chocolate, ink, tar and black fruits, with rustic firm tannins and influence of spicy oak.
