Deep, saturated colour; a superb wine, powerful, profound and lush. It's full-bodied and packs a punch but retains balance and a degree of elegance. Black fruits and licorice. A wine with wow factor - one of the best of this line that I've ever tasted.05 JUN 2017

96 points Huon Hooke The Real Review
The cabernet franc is only 3%, which strictly speaking should not appear on the front label, 5% the minimum. It has a fragrant savoury/spicy bouquet, characters that come through strongly on the palate. The tannins per se are not a force, the savoury bitter chocolate notes coming from the fruit. One of Robert Parker's 70 best winemaker in the world.
