Medium brick-red with a tawny tint, a colour not unusual for nebbiolo. There are rose petal, dried herb and angelica-like aromas, subtle flavour details, attractive and reserved, the tannins firm and abundant as expected with nebb, but balanced, the palate quite long and lingering with typical Barolo savouriness. Very good indeed.

All charm. Red fruit, honey and hazelnuts, a little spice, mint and dried floewr perfume. It’s fresh and red fruited, with some blood orange, fine pumice stone tannin, almost delicate, but has a fair amount of power through the finish, and bright perfume and some amaro bitterness in the aftertaste. So nicely done.
