A 57/31/12% blend, separately vinified, all destemmed, all wild yeast open-fermented, some parcels including whole bunches (15% of the total) with foot-stomping towards the end of fermentation, 57% matured in used French puncheons and hogsheads for 9 months, 47% in tank, blended and bottled Sept '16. Deeper colour than the Grenache, and while medium-bodied at best, is more substantial, with both red and dark fruits and spices.
