Very limited. Following years of going cap-in-hand, Vincent has at last offered us an allocation of his Rully rouge. Not a bad vintage to start with! It’s drawn from five organically managed plots—Maizières, Rosey, Montagne de Remenot and two parcels in En Guesnes—covering just under three hectares in total.
The average age of the vines is now 50 years old and this 2015 was vinified in one third new oak, with roughly 25% whole bunches. Lovely pinot flesh and bright, punchy freshness combine to make one of the best value reds we can offer from Burgundy.
