A timid but delicately spiced nose reflects notes of soft oak, fresh red berry fruit, dark cherry and plum. The velvety medium weight flavors possess good mid-palate concentration while being shaped by fine-grained tannins on the saline and mineral-inflected finish that delivers excellent depth and persistence. This is a first-rate Vosne villages that could be enjoyed young if desired.

Suppler and sweeter than the last couple of village wines and a step up in flesh and texture. A touch reduced but still nicely perfumed.
