This has the austere profile of the cooler vintages, where the whites from Monterrei excel and show the rocky minerality. This is more about soils than grapes, and the palate also reveals the texture. This is incredible for the price.

Light, bright straw-yellow. Lively orange, honeydew melon and floral aromas show impressive clarity and mineral lift. Taut and sharply focused on entry, then more brawny on the mid-palate, offering intense citrus fruit, melon and pear nectar flavors that are complemented by a subtle fennel note. Finishes with zesty mineral cut and solid thrust, leaving a suave floral honeysuckle note behind. There's excellent value here.
