The 2016 Chianti Classico is fabulous. Deep and pliant. The 2016 is another hugely promising wine from Paolo De Marchi. All of the pedigree of the vintage comes through in the wine's textural depth and complexity. The fruit tons are dark and yet there is a wonderful sense of translucence to the 2016. Dollops of Canaiolo and Syrah complement Sangiovese nicely.
