this cuvée includes the small quantity of domain vines that have not yet been replanted as well as vines from the heavily frosted La Petite Charmotte): Healthy dark red. Deeper-pitched and riper on the nose than the Pommard, offering aromas of redcurrant, smoke and game. A step up in sweetness as well, with redcurrant fruit lifted by a violet quality and complemented by sweet oak. A bit dusty but not dry on the back end.
