Formerly known as Cerro del Masso, the 2016 Poggiotondo Chianti was fermented with indigenous yeast. Malolactic fermentation occurred naturally. The grapes were destemmed and gently crushed then fermented in concrete tanks.The resultant wines is deep garnet red.
