Grenache 54% Shiraz 32% Touriga 9% Other 5%. Hand-harvested, crushed, and traditionally vinified in small open-top fermenters. Malolactic fermentation in stainless, then transferred to large format French vats (2,800 ltr) for 7 months.
This youthful, vibrant and fruit driven style presents lifted fruits of cherry and raspberry, musk, violets, with a hint of anise and nutmeg.
Silky and juicy. It’s a flavoursome medium bodied wine. The palate is long and consistent with integrated sandy, gritty Grenache tannins that just scream for food.
Best enjoyed over the next five years whilst it’s fresh and alive. However, the old vine Grenache will age gracefully, and present some great secondary characters if that’s your thing.
Hand-picked, crushed, open-fermented, matured in 2800l French vats for 7 months. Good colour; interesting texture, partly juicy, part slightly savoury/sandy, but carries the flavours well, with an unexpected hint of licorice along with cherry/raspberry.
