This cuvée is drawn from a small parcel of fruit farmed by Emmanuel Guillot (Domaine Guillot-Broux), in one of the oldest organic vineyards in Burgundy. The vines are now between 50-80 years old (and some much older). The vineyard’s low yields in 2017 ensured there was only one (used) barrel made from this year. This has resulted in a wine that combines the mineral drive of the vintage with a layered, silky texture and tremendous clarity of pithy, citrus fruit. A flat-out winner.
