The airy, cool and restrained nose is wonderfully pure with its essence of green apple, acacia blossom, wet stone and discreet spice and chalk whiffs. The tautly muscular big-bodied flavors are blessed with both an abundance of dry extract as well as almost painful intensity before culminating in a stony, balanced and once again hugely long finish. This beauty is one the best examples of 2017 Corton-Charlemagne.
