Produced from three vineyards all within 3kms of the winery, including a portion from Pittermännchen GG. 80% sees stainless steel whilst the balance goes into 'double-Stück'. 3-4 months on lees prior to bottling. 6.5g/L RS, 8g/L TA.
This is a compelling and wonderfully complex Riesling, particularly for it's classification. A generous and textured palate, mineral and salty but with plenty of bright, primary fruit. Acid is high and utterly refreshing and the time on lees contributes a lovely roundness/creaminess to finish.
...a clear and straight mineral message on the palate. A salty tang stimulates the taste buds and is well supported by a fresh and slightly crunchy herbaceous touch. Cool and dry
