This could put dovecotes fluttering in Germany. It really does cut the mustard, built in Kabinett style, SGR standing for up to 60g/l of residual sugar (this wine has 58g/l residual sugar and 9.9g/l of titratable acidity). The grapes are hand-picked when ripe, but fermentation is stopped at 6.5% alcohol, a wine treated as illegal in Australia until a few years ago. It is intense and very long, Rose's lime juice balanced by crisp acidity.
