Pink Billy is made from the free run juice extracted from a sample of grapes collected across our sorting table. The berries where selected on weight and colour.
Merlot (mainly being the larger berry) forms 50% of the blend, while Shiraz and Cabernet Franc make up the balance equally. Pink Billy Saignee is light salmon pink in colour, with aromas of strong berry fruit characters. The flavour is creamy and soft with excellent texture married with subtle but powerful fruit characters. It is dry and savoury without being astringent, showing off a great length of flavour.
