Handpicked from 20yo+ vines.
From a collection of hillside vineyards averaging 20 years of age and all from the commune of Chichee. The soils are a classic mix of limestone and clay and the vines are tended with the same care and attention to detail as the lieu-dit and premier cru bottlings and the wine is vinified in the stainless steel with extended lees contact.
There is a whiff of the exotic present on the mineral reduction-inflected aromas of muscat and white peach. There is fine volume and mid-palate density to the bright middle weight flavors that offer good richness as well as solid length on attractively textured if slightly warm finale.
