2018 Paringa Estate Riesling, Mornington Peninsula

The fruit for this Single Vineyard wine was sourced from 20+ year old vines at own Thacore Vineyard in Callanans Road, Red Hill South. The fruit was whole bunch pressed and cool temperature (12°C to 15°C) tank fermented to retain maximum fragrance and fruit characters.

The wine is fragrant and floral, with aromas of fresh lemon and lime. The palate is delicately nuanced with flavours of spice and citrus, with an excellent balance between fruit weight and acidity. The finish is crisp and dry. Whilst this wine is delicious when consumed young, Riesling as a variety has potential for considerable aging
