Fragrant notes of cassis, fresh herbs and subtle dusty earthy layers. Flavours of cassis, bay leaf, complex rich dark chocolate and a smooth, silky tannin structure.
Previously Black Label Cabernet. Summer lavender, white and black pepper, cassis, blackcurrant and licorice. On the palate, the regional DNA of red dirt and ferrous notes rises through the black fruit, leaving a trail of fine dusty tannins in its wake. A stupendously smart wine for the price. If Frankland River isn't on your radar for cabernet sauvignon, you might like to rethink things.
