Brilliant bright yellow. Aromas of lemongrass, melon, pear, peach blossom and a light herb note.
There’s a nice mineral note on the palate along with green apple and loads of citrus.
Drink with shellfish courses, raw fish, medium seasoned cheeses, vegetarian risotto and white meat.
The 2019 Alta Mora Etna Bianco sends up aromas of musky dried peach, wax, raw almonds and wet stone. Its soft textures envelop the palate with a mix of nectarine and young mango offset by saline-minerality and bright acids. This is persistent and structured yet crisp and savory, resonating on citrus-tinged pit fruits and exotic spices. The 2019 is showing great already, but a year or two of cellaring should help to further smooth out the expression.
