Very light salmon-pink colour, with a definite developed tint; the bouquet seems stale and almost a bit fatigued at first. A touch of smoky reduction. A suggestion of the barrel. The palate is very light and delicate, seeming forward-developed. It's a very savoury style as it appears here: very dry and crisp, with flavours the opposite of fruity. It's a style that grew on me the more I sipped it. I ended up really enjoying it.05 MAR 2020 Drink 2020–2023

"Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think. Enjoy yourself, while you're still in the pink. Rosé made in this country has come on leaps and bounds over the last handful of years. My love for it shows no sign of abating, not least when it's made from Nebbiolo. Bull's-eye.
What a treat this is. Redcurrant, white cherry, red apple, subtle aniseed and floral notes. It's fresh. pitch-perfect acidity, almond smoothness and talc texture, a little blood orange tang, fine and long finish. Beautiful.
