Bouquet of pear, green apple, quince, and melon that develops notes of mineral and honey. Expressive and exceptionally well balanced on the palate with lots of lemon and a trace of anise.

A sec (dry) Vouvray from 2 flint soil parcels, each 50-60 years old. The organic vineyards are entirely hand-harvested and only indigenous yeasts used are used in the winery. Fermented and matured in stainless steel thermo-regulated vats.

Bernard Fouquet, a quiet-spoken man, is making some of the most serious Vouvray you'll find these days. He is regarded in France and the international press as one of the top Vouvray producers. No one succeeds better than Bernard in capturing the mineral tones unique to Vouvray’s soil, with the marvelous balance of explosive fruit and titillating sensation of the Chenin Blanc grape.
