The wine has a beautiful combination of pear and passionfruit on the nose. The palate is clean and crisp with lime, citrus and melon. Complexity has been added from wild fermentation giving subtle flinty characters.
Bordered by ocean on three sides, Margaret River nestles in the south-west spur of Western Australia. Not only a region of flawless natural beauty, it is also a place blessed with ideal soil and weather conditions for winemaking.
Both the warm, maritime climate and the gently rolling topography are perfect for viticulture, and since the 1970s Margaret River has become known for producing high quality Cabernet Sauvignon and other Bordeaux varietals. The region is also renowned for its superior whites such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.
