The domain farms 1.1ha in this lieu-dit of Fourchaume. Pierrick's vines average 25 years with some up to 35 years old. Vinified in stainless steel with 25% matured in older barrels.
The 2017 Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume L'Homme Mort unfurls in the glass with aromas of lemon oil, fennel, wet stones and white flowers. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and incisive, with an elegantly textural attack, a bright spine of acidity and a penetrating finish. Drink 2020-2033.
