Echezeaux Grand Cru is divided into 2 plots located for 80% in the climat 'Echezeaux Du-Dessus' planted in 1922 and 20% in the climat 'Quartiers de Nuits' planted in 1945.
Grapes are carefully harvested and sorted out by hand. Wine is aged 18 months in traditional Burgundian 228 litres new barrels.
Pretty dark-ruby colour. The nose is very fresh with red fruits and fresh wood aromas. On the palate, the wine reveals spices, cinnamon and curry aromas. Very good length and power.
