A pale and limpid straw in appearance. Delicate floral aromas of honeysuckle, orange blossom and jasmine, embellished with pear essence, nutmeal and lemon curd provide an enticing entrée to the palate.
Flavours of stone fruit, melon and fig meld with nutmeal and caramel in a silky and seamless manner. The fine, mineral acidity and oak tension given restraint, texture and length to the palate. A wine of fine structure, silky elegance with a restrained purity and power. Drink for the next 6 to 8 years
Lemon citrus, almond meal, lime leaf aromas; bright and intense in the mouth. Oak is subtle. Crisp and dry, savoury and long. The lemon and grapefruit acidity tingles the edges of the tongue. A refreshing, appetising style of chardonnay. Delicious - and would be even more so with fish.

Each hand-picked parcel is hand-sorted, cooled, whole-bunch pressed, only the free-run juice used, wild-fermented in French oak (40% new), matured for 9 months, some mlf encouraged in each batch. Its quality cannot be gainsayed, all the flavours in balance, the length good.
