The 2019 de France is an equal blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon picked from 14 September to 10 October. It offers plenty of black current, blueberry and cassis scents on the nose that feels a little more forward than its peers. The palate is well balanced with fine tannins, well judged acidity, slightly understated and not as persistent as other Pessac-Léognans in this vintage, though clean and very pure. Enjoy over the next decade. Tasted three times.
