Subtle, reserved aromas of citrus, but also some dusty slate and earth, and generally a bit subdued. The palate is delicate, light-on, dry and subtle, with everything in reserve at this stage. Slightly richer and fuller than the Watervale bottling. This needs time, too. Crisp acidity and minerally, slaty flavours that have yet to develop fully. Good palate intensity and length 25 AUG 2012
