This Sicilian estate just an hour southwest of Palermo sources fruit from around the ancient town of Gibellina and of course on Mt. Etna. Tenute Orestiadi is a project born of the Orestiadi Foundation, based in Gibellina, and a local co-op Cantine Ermes.
The Grillo wine is pale straw/olive with lovely vibrant citrus and tropical aromas that are supplemented on the palate yellow melon. Clean and bright on the finish. This wine is a pure, bright reflection of its place in the world and is terrific value.
