Two heart surgeons from Adelaide own the Doctors' Vineyard in the Polish Hill River. Grey loam soils over sandstone and slate make up the profile with the top soil littered with rock; hinting at just how tough the vines need to be to sustain growth and produce quality fruit. Polish Hill River is ideal for this style with its high perfume and minerality. This original 41 year old Riesling planting was always destined for something special.
Pale straw in colour with a green tinge. Honey suckle, white florals, bath salts, musk and fennel. Pure and intense. Abundant mineral notes, floral freshness, zesty lemon and lime.
