Attractive yellow robe, minor green glints. The nose is close-knit, shows a little grilling, with dried fruits airs, grape essence, ripe white peach, toasting. The attack is marked by carbonic gas - be ready for that: it is fine, has a cooked lemon flavour, with a steady stream of delivery, ending in a lip smacking finish. It’s slightly reserved, so decanting is suggested, and another few months won’t hurt, either. It finishes with sound grip, a hint of aniseed on the aftertaste. It’s very correct, just needs coaxing out. The length is assured.
Pale shimmering yellow. Ripe lemon, pear and nectarine on the highly fragrant nose; suave floral and mineral qualities build in the glass. Fleshy and expansive on the palate, offering intense orchard and pit fruit flavors that take on a honeyed character with air. Shows excellent clarity and lift on the velvety finish, which features notes of chamomile, candied ginger and smoky minerals.
