The "Ürziger" site is affected by red iron-rich volcanic soil, which is mixed with fine weathered slate. This changes the character of the wines grown here to aromas which remind on spices and rich fully ripened fruit. The acidity is crisp with a good hearty backbone and produces a very fine tightly wound Kabinett wine.
The 2018er Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Kabinett offers a beautiful nose of strawberry puree, fine spices, and herbs on the nose.
The wine offers a nice and beautifully playful side on the zesty and mineral palate. It leaves a gorgeously vivid and structured feel in the long and engaging finish.
