Exclusively sourced from older, propitiously situated vineyards in Mount Barker, this has spent 16 months in sexy French oak, conferring a creamy mid-palate to the cavalcade of satsuma plum, red to dark cherry scents, pepper grind and violet florals. A delicious drink, approachable now. It will hold for a while, but I suggest drinking with gusto imminently.
